Why A.Vogel Echinaforce® is the Best Defense Against Viral Infections

Since 2022, a triple epidemic of respiratory viruses RSV, influenza and SARS-CoV-2 has been disrupting our daily lives. Over, the last three years we have seen and learned that respiratory viruses are no longer just seasonal and that prevention is key to both minimize risk and reduce sick time.

With virus prevention at the top of all Canadians minds, it is imperative to remember that the best form of prevention is a strong immune system, particularly for those in higher risk categories such as the elderly, children, people under high stress levels or fatigue and smokers.

With so many products on the market it is important to ensure whatever you choose is backed by science and approved claims.

Clinical research shows A.Vogel Echinaforce’s potent antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can significantly prevent and treat a wide range of cold and flu viruses, including influenza A & B, H1N1, H3N2, SARS and previous strains of Coronavirus (CoV).

To protect you and your family, Echinaforce can be taken daily up to 4 months to effectively modulate the immune system to help reduce the inflammatory response of an attacking virus and activate the body’s antiviral defenses to prevent infection.

Because it is made from fresh, organic Echinacea purpurea, it is 10 times more effective than other echinacea products made from dry herbs.

If a virus does hit your household, Echinaforce relieves and shortens symptoms of respiratory tract infections, decreases the risk of secondary infections (bronchitis, sinusitis and pneumonia) by 65% and the need for antibiotics by 76%.

With over 65 years on the market and 35 clinical trials backing its efficacy, A.Vogel Echinaforce has become a trusted brand to help Canadians, aged 2 and up, (including pregnant and nursing women) significantly reduce their chances of falling victim to cold and flu viruses.

Additional Tips to Keep You Healthy This Winter

It’s all in your hands

Avoid handshakes and touching your face.

Wash your hands thoroughly (minimum of 20 seconds) after the bathroom, an outing and before each meal to keep germs at bay.

Eat well and hydrate

Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and lean proteins. During the winter months we tend to be more dehydrated so drink plenty of water (8 glasses per day).

Keep your cool

Reduce stress, it hampers the immune system. A few minutes of meditation and deep breathing per day can make a world of difference. Yoga is great for getting back your chi plus exercise provides great immune support.

Catch those needed ZZZ’s

Make sure to get at least 7- 8 hours of sleep at night and nap when you’re tired. A tired body means your immune system isn’t as fired up as it could be and you’re more susceptible to getting sick.

Freshen up

Bundle up and get outdoors for some fresh air. Get rid of stale and potentially infected air by opening the windows morning, noon and night for 5-10 minutes.
