Spray Paint Is Not The Answer To Anti-Aging

  • Nature's Source

At some point in our lives, we all begin to feel the inevitable pressure that comes with aging. Thanks to mainstream media, we all think we can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in only eight days or look 30 pounds lighter in a month.

It reminds me of a funny story my dad used to talk about some shrubs my mom bought. They were on sale because of their brown, withered condition. She planted them in the front yard, convinced they’d recover, but soon became the joke of the neighbourhood. My dad, never one to pass up an opportunity to thwart the ‘neighbourhood watch’, snuck out one night and gave those shrubs a thorough coating of green spray paint. There stood the shrubs the next morning miraculously restored to their green, youthful glory.

Get to Know Your Interiors

In our youth obsessed culture, our challenge lies in redefining the aging process as an evolutionary process of learning, fitness and vitality. it’s not enough to just spray on the paint and have the outside look good - we have to take the time to discover the ways of redesigning our interiors as well.

How Can We Accomplish This?

  • Learn one new thing about your body every day and put your anti-agingstrategy into practice. Self-education is important to the discovery process and is a great way to improve brain function.
  • Take stress, for instance. Adrenal burnout is common because of the negative effects of constant, everyday stress. Continual production of the stress hormone cortisol not only exhausts the adrenal glands, but can contribute to thyroid problems as well. Managing stressthrough exercise, meditation, supplementation and diet will be an important component of your anti-aging strategy.
  • Did you know that as our cardiovascularand respiratory systems age, oxygen and nutrients are not delivered in sufficient quantities to the tissues? In addition, as a result of pollution, soil stripping and food processing, the majority of us are not receiving sufficient amounts of nutrients coming into the body to prevent degeneration.

What Does This Mean for You?

It means that if you’re thinking about spray painting, it’s probably time to do a little work from the inside out. If you’re not sure where to begin, there are lots of books and nutritional experts who are happy to help you get started. It’s never too late to learn.
