Watson, physician, Oats tincture is recommended for impotence and nervous exhaustion. It is useful for opium weaning and as a nervine tonic. Dr. Watson uses Oats tincture to improve physical resistance and sexual vigor in men and women.(2) Oats' balancing and nutritive action on the nervous system is useful in cases of insomnia resulting from nervous exhaustion. Many authors also propose its use in the treatment of frigidity.
