DIM Enhanced is a microencapsulated form of diindolylmethane (DIM) designed to promote healthy estrogen balance. Standardized curcumin and green tea extracts are also included alongside wasabia.

Healthy hormone detoxification is a crucial part of the normal functioning of organs, including the breast. DIM is known to help stimulate natural detoxification enzymes and support healthy estrogen metabolism. As a natural component derived from indole-3-carbinole and cruciferous vegetables, DIM has been shown in clinical research to favour the production of the estrogen metabolite 2-hydroxysterone over the more deleterious 16-hydroxyestrone. DIM can also decrease the severity and duration of recurrent breast pain and promote antioxidant support. Polyphenols in green tea, specifically the catechins, provide the primary health promoting benefits associated with green tea consumption. Catechins, most notably epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), are effective antioxidants and decrease harmful oxidative damage. Studies have shown that curcuminoids, naturally occurring bioactive compounds from turmeric, also scavenge free radicals by providing antioxidants. Since curcumin exhibits poor absorption when consumed orally, DIM Enhanced contains a highly bioavailable curcumin that has up to a 20-fold improvement in bioavailability versus the standard 95% curcumin extracts.
