Therapies of Naturopathic MedicineClinical Nutrition: It is the foundation of naturopathic medicine and of our daily lives. We take an in-depth analysis of your nutritional status and health needs, and suggest dietary changes or supplementation to improve your health.
Botanical Medicine (Phytotherapy): Plants have been used as medicines for as long as one can remember. They are known for their powerful healing effects, nutritional value, and immune enhancing abilities.
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine: An ancient oriental system of medicine incorporating the use of herbal formulas, dietary changes, and acupuncture to enhance the flow of Ki (energy) and stimulate healthy function within the body.
Naturopathic Manipulative Therapies: The use of various gentle, hands-on techniques and corrective exercises. These therapies may include naturopathic bodywork and manipulation, hydrotherapy, Bowen technique, and the use of electro-magnetic therapies to enhance the body's healing process.
Prevention and Lifestyle Counseling: Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease through the identification of environmental, dietary, and lifestyle risk factors, thus creating a plan for optimal healthcare through patient education.
Massage Therapy: A technique covering a wide range of soft tissue manipulations of the human body. It encourages relaxation and aids healing by loosening, softening, and stretching the tissue, increasing circulation, and decreasing spasms and pain.
CranioSacral Therapy: A gentle, non-invasive manipulative technique of the skull and spinal column, affecting the fascial system and cerebrospinal fluid.
Bowen Technique: A type of therapy specific for the myofacial system of the body. It is performed through specific, gentle, and non-invasive muscle and connective tissue movements to relax the body and bring it back to homeostasis (equilibrium).
