Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a method of healing recognized by the World Health Organization as an effective therapy for many conditions. In an acupuncture session, the therapist inserts fine needles into the body at key points in order to improve functioning in the body. Generally, needle insertion is painless, though you may feel some soreness, heaviness, or distention. The therapist may use other modalities such as moxibustion (heat treatment) or cupping. You should always feel comfortable with the treatment and procedures.
The Treatment
The therapist will assess and determine how long and how often your treatments will be depending on the nature of the condition. It can be weekly or bi-weekly for acute conditions, twice a week for chronic conditions, or monthly/semi-monthly for general health maintenance. Treatment sessions are performed on a table or on a floor mat.

After the treatment, people experience an increased motion in the joints, have deeper and restful sleep, feel energetic, and a holistic feeling of psychological, spiritual, and physical harmony.B
